Women showing support to one another, healing from domestic abuse

About Us

The Dandelion Project is a safe space for women who have experienced domestic abuse - a place where you can begin your journey of healing, rediscover your strength, and step into freedom.

Founded by Fi Bool, a survivor herself, we understand the challenges of rebuilding after trauma. Our trauma-informed movement programmes are designed to help you heal, rebuild trust in yourself, and feel confident in your body again.

Like the dandelion, you are resilient. No matter the storms you’ve faced, you have the power to rise, grow, and thrive - even in the toughest conditions. Here, you’ll find not just a class or a workshop, but a community that believes in your potential and celebrates your journey.

You are not alone. Your healing starts here.

Hey! I’m Fi B!

Meet the Founder

I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Fi Bool, the founder of The Dandelion Project. As a survivor of domestic abuse, I know how it feels to lose yourself, to question your worth, and to struggle to trust again. But I also know how powerful it is to take that first step toward healing, even when it feels impossible.

The Dandelion Project was born from my own journey of recovery, and it’s now my mission to help women like you rediscover your strength and resilience. Through movement, dance and support, I’ve seen women transform and reclaim their power- and I’m here to walk with you through that journey.

You’re not alone in this, I’ve been where you are, and I’m here to show you that healing is possible. Together, we’ll move forward, rebuild and rise stronger than ever before.

Let’s take that first step. You’re Ready.

Why Movement Matters?

Trauma affects every part of us, including our bodies. Movement is a powerful way to release what’s been holding you back, helping you feel grounded, strong and in control. You don’t need to be a dancer or have had any previous experience to join - this is about you, your journey and your healing.

Introducing: RISE - A Survivor Steps Programme

EMPOWER | HEAL | THRIVE!

RISE is more than just a programme or a dance class - it’s a journey back to you.

If you’ve ever felt like you’ve lost your confidence or struggled to trust yourself and others after what you’ve been through, this programme is here to help you rebuild, step by step.

Through gentle movement, dance and mindfulness, RISE creates a safe space where you can:

  • Reconnect with your body in a way that feels empowering

  • Process difficult emotions without needing to find the words

  • Build resilience and rediscover your inner strength

  • Be part of a supportive community that truly understands

You don’t need to know how to dance or feel confident right now. All you need is the courage to take that first step- and we will be with you every step of the way.

RISE is part of our women’s programme, created for women healing from emotional abuse and looking for a way to move forward - physically, emotionally and mentally.
